Persists the Balance-tab earnings settings: interval (0=Hour 1=Day 2=Month
3=Year, default Day), mode (0=Inflows 1=Net, default Inflows), display
format (0=Coin 1=Coin+fiat 2=Fiat, default Coin+fiat), a global show-all
toggle (default off), and an opt-in set of addresses whose earnings column
is shown when show-all is off. All values are clamped on load and saved,
mirroring the existing favorite/hidden address sets.

Adds a "Favorite Highlight Opacity" slider (15-100%, default 100%) to
Settings > Appearance > Scale & Effects. It scales the alpha of the four
favorite gold tokens (fill/border/icon/outline) at their resolve site in
the Balance address list via material::ScaleAlpha, so the gold row outline
and the star button fade together. The multiplier is skin-agnostic (it
scales whatever alpha the theme resolved) and touches only favorited rows;
non-favorite rows and the white selection highlight are unchanged, and the
100% default is byte-identical to the previous look.
The preference lives in Settings (favorite_opacity, clamped 0.15-1.0 in both
the setter and on load), persists across restarts, updates live, and is not
low-spec gated (it's a pure color-alpha preference, independent of the
transparency sliders). New i18n keys favorite_opacity / tt_favorite_opacity
are translated into all eight locales; the CJK subset font is rebuilt to add
the two new glyphs the zh string needs.
Verified: full + lite builds clean, full + lite test suites pass, hygiene OK.

Market-tab portfolio groups were tied to a wallet by a hash of its
address set. That hash changed whenever an address was added, so a
group built for a wallet could silently drop out of view once the
wallet gained a new address.
- Groups are now scoped by the wallet's stable id, which is persisted
and never derived from the address set, so adding an address can no
longer orphan a group.
- An older build's address-hash scope fails open (the group stays
visible) and is migrated once per wallet per session to the stable id.
A legacy group is claimed when its old hash matches, when one of its
own addresses belongs to this wallet, or when only one wallet is
known; anything ambiguous is left legacy and stays visible.
- Scope filtering waits until the wallet's addresses are loaded, so a
group never flashes an empty 0.0000 balance and Add stays disabled
until the wallet is resolved. This works on Lite, which never stamps
an address-update time.
Behaviour: an older build opened after this change hides groups tagged
with a stable "w:" scope (they are not deleted and return on the next
upgrade) - worth a release note.
Tests: group visibility across global, stable and legacy scopes with the
wallet resolved and not; the migration rules (hash match, address
overlap, single-wallet claim, ambiguous left alone, idempotent); and a
save/load round trip where an address-set change cannot orphan the scope.

The "Use Tor" checkbox was saved but never read: no build routed any
traffic (node, RPC, price/update/bootstrap/pool HTTP or Lite gRPC)
through Tor, so users who ticked it believed they were anonymous.
- The checkbox is disabled and always shown unticked, on the Settings
page and in the legacy Settings window. Its tooltip says it is not
available and gives the alternatives: for the node, proxy=127.0.0.1:9050
in DRAGONX.conf with Tor running; otherwise a system-wide VPN/Tor (Lite
builds get the short version). The "Use Tor" label is kept.
- Behaviour change: a stored use_tor=true is cleared once at startup
(Settings::consumeLegacyUseTor + a synchronous save before the async
writer and any Settings page state), with a 20 s warning in the user's
language. The cleared key is the "already told" flag, so the notice
never repeats. No settings format change.
- 3 new strings (tt_tor_unavailable, tt_tor_unavailable_lite,
tor_never_applied_notice) in all 8 languages; the tooltip wraps at
tor-tooltip-wrap-width from ui.toml.

The full UI sweep (dev builds only) ran its demo surfaces against the
real profile. Its teardown deleted wallet-{cold,trading,mining,donations,
2023,payroll}.dat from the real datadir, it created zero-filled wallet
files and picker-demo/extra-wallets folders, its demo wallet-index upsert
re-minted the active wallet's scopeId (hiding "w:"-scoped contacts), the
Contacts tab could re-attach legacy-scoped contacts to such a throwaway
id in addressbook.json, and it persisted the demo active wallet file and
Mining pool worker.
- Preflight: a full sweep is refused (toast + log line) while a real
workflow is in flight: a pending seed_migration_* setting or open
migrate dialog, a wallet switch, an encryption/import workflow, an
encrypt/PIN/lock operation, the seed-backup dialog, or a bootstrap.
The DRAGONX_FULL_SWEEP hook then exits as for an empty catalog.
- Persistence latches: AddressBook (snapshot on the first sweepBegin,
save/load latched while a demo-contacts surface is shown), WalletIndex
and Settings (active wallet file, contacts view mode, pool URL/worker)
for the whole sweep. Settings::sweepEnd() is the last statement of
clearDemoWalletData and flushes once only if a save was suppressed; a
quit mid-sweep writes nothing to the profile (the 0700 sandbox, with
zero-filled demo files only, may stay in the temp dir).
- Scope ids: during a full sweep activeWalletScopeId() returns the
persisted id or "" and never mints one, so the Contacts tab cannot
move legacy-scoped contacts to a throwaway id. The only address-book
write a sweep can still cause is the one-time legacy re-attach to the
wallet's persisted id, which opening Contacts does anyway.
- Sandbox: demo wallet files and folders go to a fresh random 0700 dir
under the temp dir (exclusive create, a pre-existing path or symlink
is refused), removed at sweep end. The teardown that deleted those six
wallet files is gone.
- Cleanup: the migrate-to-seed state, wizard phase, demo chat
conversations and a fabricated demo chat identity are reset at sweep
end; the seed-backup surface always shows the demo phrase and a real
z_exportmnemonic result is dropped while the sweep runs.
- i18n: one new key (screenshot_sweep_refused) in i18n.cpp and the 8
language files.
Tests: the address book snapshots only on the first sweepBegin, keeps
addressbook.json byte-identical while latched and restores the real
book; the wallet index keeps wallets.json and the real scope id, also
with the background writer attached; Settings restores the latched
values and flushes once only when a save was suppressed; the sandbox
helper refuses a pre-existing path or symlink and removes only a
prefixed dir, never a symlink's target.
Release note: v2.0.x UI sweeps could delete wallet-{cold,trading,mining,
donations,2023,payroll}.dat from the data directory and re-scope
contacts; this cannot be undone automatically.

Settings::save() and WalletIndex::save() ran the atomic write (temp
file, fsync, rename, directory fsync) on the UI thread: on every
preference change, and for wallets.json after every address-scan pass
whose wallet metadata changed, i.e. repeatedly during sync, when the
disk is busiest. Each took milliseconds to tens of milliseconds, and
seconds under heavy disk load.
The JSON is still built on the caller; the write is queued on an
App-owned CoalescingWriter, latest wins per file, one write at a time.
- After a fund- or security-critical setter (seed-migration stage,
encryption pending, PIN enabled, active wallet file, wizard completed)
the next save still waits until the file is on disk, so e.g. the
sweep-submitted marker is durable before the sweep is broadcast. A
failed durable save keeps the next one durable.
- Saves before the writer is attached (the upgrade re-save at startup),
and in tests and tools, stay synchronous.
- main() flushes the queue (at most 3 s) before and after
App::shutdown(), before the single-instance lock is released, so a
relaunch never reads a stale settings.json.
A kill or power loss right after an ordinary save can now lose that
last preference change; the previous file stays intact. WalletIndex
saves report "queued" rather than "written" (no caller reads it). On a
wedged disk, exit can wait up to 2 x 3 s longer, inside the 15 s
watchdog.

Bug-report fixes plus adversarial-audit follow-ups. Bumps full 2.0.1->2.0.2 and
lite 1.1.0->1.1.1.
i18n / fonts:
- Rebuild the NotoSansCJK subset with the glyphs the FAQ back-fill introduced
(什/么/门/做); Chinese FAQ titles rendered as "??" on zh (and ja/ko).
Transaction history (enumeration gaps):
- Surface outgoing shielded z->z sends via z_listsentbyaddress (listtransactions
and z_listreceivedbyaddress never report them).
- Surface z->t deshields by parsing z_listsentbyaddress transparentSends (which
z_viewtransaction does not expose); dedupe t->t against listtransactions.
- Key send-row dedup on address so equal-value multi-output sends aren't dropped.
Lite wallet (key safety):
- The async create/restore/open path the UI uses now applies the passphrase:
encrypt a new/restored wallet, unlock an existing one. It previously discarded
the passphrase, storing the seed/keys in PLAINTEXT (create/restore) or leaving
an encrypted wallet locked (open).
Migrate-to-seed (fund safety):
- Persist a sweep-submitted marker at broadcast so a resumed migration can't treat
a ~0 balance (an unconfirmed in-flight sweep) as an empty wallet and adopt (swap
wallet.dat) before the sweep confirms; best-effort locate routes to the confirm gate.
Sync / threading:
- Gate isSynced() on a peer-derived tip (tip_known) so a peerless node isn't reported
synced (Send against a stale balance); add a "no peers" status banner.
- Guard daemon_status_ with a mutex (monitor-thread write vs UI-thread read).
Tests: extends tests/test_phase4.cpp across all of the above; suite green.

Ship https://lite6.dragonx.is and https://lite7.dragonx.is as default
lightwalletd servers in both the Settings defaults and the connection-service
fallback list. Existing installs (whose saved server list predates these)
pick them up via a load-time merge that appends any missing default server —
safe because servers are hidden, never deleted, so a removed server isn't
resurrected. Consolidates the Settings default list into a single
Settings::defaultLiteServers() source of truth.

Adds a per-conversation "delete" with two modes, and removes the per-frame
rescans of the chat history that shared these files.
Delete conversation (header trash icon → confirm dialog):
- Delete (revive-on-new-message): clears local history and tombstones the
messages (new chat_deleted table, keyed dedup hashes) so the every-few-
seconds memo re-scan can't re-import them; a genuinely NEW message (new
txid) revives the thread.
- Delete & block: removes history WITHOUT a tombstone and records the cid as
blocked (settings); ChatService::ingest drops that conversation's messages
— old and future — until unblocked from the "Blocked" manager, which then
re-imports the conversation from chain.
- Local-only (messages remain on-chain; the peer keeps their copy).
deleteConversation() deletes the DB rows FIRST and only then mutates the
store, so a failed write can't leave the two diverged.
Unit-tested (revive / tombstone-survives-reload / block / unblock) and
adversarially reviewed (store/DB divergence, half-open DB, revive-unread).
Performance (chat + badge hot paths, from the perf audit):
- ChatStore gains revision(); the Chat unread badge is now a single O(N)
no-alloc pass cached on it (was O(conversations x messages) copy+sort every
frame). The conversation list and open thread are memoized on revision()
(+ show-hidden and AddressBook::revision() for peer-name resolution).
- AddressBook gains revision() so an in-place contact rename invalidates the
chat memo (an edit keeps entries().size() constant).

Add an opt-in "Host a mining pool (stratum)" toggle so a v1.3.0+ node can run its native
RandomX stratum server for other miners to point at. Settings toggle + optional allow-IP/CIDR;
passes -stratum (+ -stratumallowip) to the daemon launch args, mirroring the -maxconnections
plumbing (EmbeddedDaemon::setStratumHosting <- DaemonController::syncSettings <- Settings).
Backwards compatible / safe by default:
- UI gated on daemon_version >= 1030000, so it's never offered where it would do nothing.
- The launch flag is harmless on older daemons (they ignore unknown args), and the toggle can
only be enabled while connected to a v1.3.0+ node anyway.
- Blank allow-IP => the daemon serves loopback only (its safe default); entering a subnet opens
it to that LAN, with an explicit exposure warning in the UI.
- Takes effect on the next daemon start/restart.

Extend the wallet-bloat warning beyond the Settings banner: when wallet.dat
first crosses 500 MB (full-node, synced), fire a one-time warning toast plus a
clickable "Consolidate notes…" entry in the bell/alerts panel that opens Merge
to Address. The persisted large_wallet_warned flag keeps it once-only and
re-arms if the file later shrinks back under the threshold.
- AlertRecord gains an optional onClick + actionHint; Notifications::action()
pushes a toast and a clickable history entry. renderAlertHistoryPanel() now
renders the accent action link (under the message) and measures true content
height so wrapped messages + the link aren't clipped.
- App::maybeWarnLargeWallet() (mirrors maybeRemindSeedBackup) runs once per
launch from update(); reuses the existing wallet_size_warn/consolidate strings.

Security audit remediation (15 confirmed findings from the codebase audit):
- H-02: scrub+delete the decrypt-flow plaintext key export on ALL exit paths
(RAII guard) and purge stale obsidiandecryptexport* files at startup.
- M-01/L-03/L-04/L-05/L-07: sodium_memzero the Set-PIN and encrypt-PIN worker
passphrase/PIN copies, the RPC Basic-auth string (auth_), the exported/imported
key buffers (App::wipeSecrets, called from ~App and before main's _Exit), and
the first-run wizard "Skip" buffers.
- M-03/M-04/M-05/L-06: return locked COPIES from XmrigManager/EmbeddedDaemon
getters (dedicated error_mutex_; DaemonController::lastError now by value),
route xmrig last_error_ writes through a locked setter, and wrap
shutdown_status_/wizard_stop_status_ in a locking GuardedStatus
(wizard_stopping_external_ -> std::atomic).
- M-02: persist after a console send/shield/import in the lite backend.
- L-01: require the confirm click for z_shieldcoinbase/z_mergetoaddress.
- L-02: quote/escape each Windows daemon argv per the MSDN CommandLineToArgvW rules.
- L-08: pin json/tomlplusplus/libwebp FetchContent to immutable commit SHAs.
- I-01: extract updater archives from the already-verified in-memory buffer
(no disk re-read TOCTOU).
Feature: warn once (full-node) when the active wallet loads empty while a sibling
wallet file in the datadir holds keys. A funded salvage wallet.<ts>.bak routes to
the recovery/Restore flow; a funded sibling .dat routes to the wallet manager.
Per-wallet-file dismissal; gated on synced + address-list-loaded to avoid false
positives on warm reconnect / spent-down wallets.
UX fixes:
- send: show the TOTAL balance (with a spendable "available" note) in the source
dropdown and keep pending-change addresses visible.
- chat: insert emoji at the cursor position; restrict new-chat recipients to
shielded (z) addresses.
- console: optional auto-focus of the command input on tab open (off by default).
- shutdown: when "stop external daemon" is on, keep the shutdown screen up until
the external node actually exits, showing live status.
Adversarially reviewed; verified across full-node, lite, and Windows builds; tests pass.

Migrate-to-seed submits z_mergetoaddress -> an async opid, then only persists the resolved
txid once the op completes. An app-close during Sweeping (opid submitted, txid not yet
resolved) dropped the opid and resumed at the re-sweep gate, silently losing the tx.
Now the opid is persisted and re-tracked on resume. If the daemon forgot it (restart —
its op queue is in-memory only), the existing poller flags it stale and the callback falls
back to the dismissable Sweep gate; it can never hang (a thrown RPC aborts the poll, so a
stale classification only comes from a *successful* poll that omits the opid).
- New seed_migration_sweep_opid setting; adopted atomically with clearing any prior txid in
the SAME settings.save(), and only once the submit succeeds — so a failed "Sweep remaining"
re-sweep keeps the already-mined first sweep's Confirming context, and txid/opid are never
both authoritative (resume checks txid first; torn-write safe).
- Resume routing extracted to a pure, unit-tested helper
(data/seed_migration_resume.h::decideSeedMigrationResume): txid -> Confirming; opid AND
connected -> re-track (Sweeping); else -> the dismissable Sweep gate. The connectivity gate
keeps a disconnected resume out of the buttonless Sweeping spinner.
- Shared makeSweepCompletionCallback(resumed): success -> Confirming; resumed-stale -> Sweep
gate (re-fetch balance + "may have already completed" copy); fresh-fail -> Error.
Fund safety unchanged: adopt still gated on legacy balance ~0 AND sweep tx mined; legacy
wallet.dat only ever moved to a never-deleted timestamped .bak.
Reviewed in two adversarial rounds (design + implementation) per the migration-code mandate;
both safety facts (no fund loss, no hang) held, and the resume-UX traps they surfaced are
fixed. Build-clean; ctest 1/1 (adds testSeedMigrationResume). See docs/wallet-hardening.md.

P0-B encryption-integrity cluster.
W2-2: the first-run wizard's "encrypt" stored the passphrase only in memory and let the
user into the app immediately, so a quit/crash or a failed daemon connect before the
deferred encryption applied left the wallet unencrypted with NO record encryption was
ever requested — the user believing it was encrypted. A persisted encryption_pending
settings flag is now set the moment encryption is requested (never the passphrase, only
the fact). refreshWalletEncryptionState() reconciles it on every connect: wallet observed
encrypted -> clear the flag; wallet NOT encrypted while the flag is set and no deferred
encryption is pending/in-flight -> a once-per-session "your wallet is NOT encrypted — open
Settings to finish" warning (the flag stays set, so it recurs each launch until resolved).
The passphrase is deliberately never persisted to auto-complete — surfacing it is the
secure choice.
W2-4: lockWallet()'s continuation only handled success — a failed walletlock RPC silently
left the wallet UNLOCKED (an unfulfilled auto-lock). It now logs and warns once (reset on
the next successful lock) so a failing auto-lock is visible instead of leaving the wallet
exposed.
Touches settings.{h,cpp}, app_wizard.cpp, app_security.cpp, app.h. Not unit-testable at
this layer (RPC/connect-driven state). Build-clean; ctest 1/1. See docs/wallet-hardening.md.

Render the portfolio trend sparkline in every row style, each with a layout that features it:
- Table: a dedicated header-labelled TREND column (48dp rows), aligned across rows.
- Cards: a left-aligned info stack (icon + label / value+delta chip / DRGX) with a full-height sparkline filling the rest of the width (content-driven, so short groups give the chart more room).
- Spotlight: a big-value-over-a-full-width-chart-band hero tile (92dp).
Default sparkline interval is now MONTH (a real curve from the daily series, not the young minute buffer). Removed the per-row container accent line (redundant with the icon/sparkline colour) and the per-group shielded/transparent bar (private-by-default makes it near-always 100%, and dropped its now-dead SumPortfolioSplit helper). DPI-scale the sparkline stroke. Adds the "Trend" column string across 9 languages.
Relocated the Market controls out of a removed settings modal + gear: the chart line/candle picker now sits top-right of the chart (left of the trade button, candle-capable ranges only), and the Table/Cards/Spotlight picker sits left of Manage. Dropped the market fetch-prices toggle (still in the general Settings page).

Add a settings-gear modal with a segmented avatar-shape picker (circle / rounded square / full-row left tab), a list-scale slider, and a live two-row preview. Smooth-scroll the address list and fix a latent wheel double-scroll on the outer scroll child. (settings.h also refreshes the portfolio-style doc comment.)

Persisted (additive JSON, clamped on load) preferences backing the new chat settings
surface and the global clock:
- chat: emoji style (color default), poll rate, bubble style + accent, message density,
text scale, per-tab timestamp override, Enter-to-send.
- app-wide time_format (0=24h, 1=12h) that the Chat tab falls back to and every other
user-facing timestamp now follows.

Hide conversations:
- A "Hide" action in the thread header drops a conversation from the list. The
messages stay in the seed-encrypted store (on-chain history can't be deleted);
a new INCOMING message un-hides it (you can't un-receive), so nothing is lost.
- Hidden cids persist in settings (mirrors the mute list) and are skipped by both
the conversation list and the unread badge.
New-conversation address picker:
- A "Choose from contacts" dropdown lists the address book's shielded (z-address)
contacts and fills the recipient field on selection; manual paste still works.
8-language strings + CJK subset (+1 glyph 届).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Per-conversation mute toggle in the thread header. Muted conversations (tracked
by cid in settings, so it persists) are skipped by chatUnreadCount(), so they
neither raise the nav-item unread badge nor the new-message toast — the toast now
gates on a chatUnreadCount() delta across ingest, which already skips muted cids,
so mute is respected for free. "Block" (rejecting a peer's inbound memos) is a
larger ingest-filter change and is intentionally left out of this pass.

Animate contact avatars end to end:
- texture_loader gains LoadAnimatedRGBA: decodes an image into a downscaled
RGBA frame sequence + per-frame durations — animated GIF via stb
(stbi_load_gif_from_memory) and animated WebP via libwebp's WebPAnimDecoder;
stills (and APNG, which stb reads as one image) return a single frame. Frames
are box-downscaled (smaller cap for animations) to bound VRAM, capped at 300.
- The contacts avatar cache now holds a frame sequence; currentAvatarFrame()
advances animated avatars by the ImGui clock and is used everywhere avatars
draw (list, cards, table, grid, preview). When a live animated frame is drawn
it flags the render loop (ConsumeContactsAvatarAnimation, clear-on-read) so
main.cpp keeps producing frames while animation plays and idles when it stops
or the contacts view is hidden.
- New animate_avatars setting (default on) + a Settings appearance toggle
("Animate avatars"); off shows the first frame only. currentAvatarFrame
honors it. +i18n (8 langs, CJK subset rebuilt for 帧/播/첫).
Verified: a 3-frame GIF and a 3-frame animated WebP both decode to 3 frames
with correct 120ms delays through the exact libwebp/stb calls used here.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Add a persisted view toggle so the contacts address list can be rendered three
ways, moving it away from a bare data-grid toward a Material look:
- Cards: tactile rounded cards with a circular Z/T type-avatar, label over a muted
truncated address, trailing globe badge, primary-tint + outline selection, hover
fill, and a centred Material empty state.
- List: borderless two-line rows (same avatar + label/address) with hover tint and a
thin per-row divider — denser than cards.
- Table: the previous 3-column table, material-ized (grid borders dropped, row
backgrounds + interactive sort kept).
The toggle is an icon SegmentedControl (view-agenda / view-list / table-rows)
right-aligned on the toolbar; the choice persists via a new contacts_view_mode_
setting (0 cards / 1 list / 2 table, mirroring portfolio_style_). Cards/List sort by
label; Table keeps its sortable headers. All geometry is dpiScale()-aware; the globe
badge is drawn in the icon font in every mode. Default is Cards.
Build + ctest + hygiene clean.

The console zoom (s_console_zoom) was a plain static reset to 1.0 each launch,
unlike the sibling toggles. Wire it through Settings (console_zoom float),
restored into the static at startup in the App ctor and written back via the
existing post-render diff-and-save. Loading clamps to [0.25, 4.0] (also
catching NaN) so a corrupt value can't feed the scanline divisor.
Verified: seeding console_zoom=1.5 survives a relaunch and the console text
renders larger.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Persist the two console output display preferences and add a second toolbar
toggle for monochrome text.
- Persistence: new Settings fields console_line_accents / console_text_color
(both default true, matching the ConsoleTab statics so an upgrade re-save
can't flip visible behavior). Restored into the statics at startup in the App
constructor, and saved from a diff-and-save after the console renders (only
when a value actually changed — save() is disk I/O). The startup restore also
fixes a pre-existing bug: scanline was only synced from settings when the
Settings page or first-run wizard ran, so an existing wallet ignored a saved
scanline preference on launch.
- Monochrome text: a new toolbar toggle (FORMAT_COLOR_TEXT, dimmed when off)
next to the accent toggle. channelTextColor() early-returns the neutral
COLOR_RESULT for every channel (and JSON syntax role) when off, leaving the
left accent bars independent. COLOR_RESULT is contrast-floored per theme, so
text stays readable on light and dark terminals.
Adds console_toggle_text_color to the English source + all 8 translations.
Verified: both toggles independent, persistence round-trips across restart,
monochrome readable on light + dark skins.

Raise the Windows window-opacity default (0.75 -> 0.90) so less of the
(often dark) desktop bleeds through the wallpaper behind the panels.
Mac/Linux stay fully opaque. Only affects fresh installs / unset values.

The chart interval (Live/1H/1D/1W/1M) and the line/candle style were
session-only statics. Persist both like the selected exchange/pair: new
chart_interval / chart_style settings (defaults 1M / candlestick),
loaded into the market view on first show and saved on each interval
click / style toggle.
Verified: writing chart_interval=2, chart_style=0 to settings.json and
launching restores them (not reset to defaults) and re-saves them intact.

Replace the drag/resize dashboard grid on the Market tab's portfolio with
three full-width row styles — compact (single-line), detailed (two-line),
and value-hero — cycled with Left/Right arrows like the Overview layouts.
Rows live in an internal scroll region bounded to the portfolio's height
budget, so the section stays put as groups are added.
- pfDrawRow renders each group in the selected style, reusing the icon /
value / DRGX / 24h / sparkline pieces; per-entry field toggles honored.
- portfolio_style setting (0/1/2) persisted; arrow-key switcher + toast.
- Portfolio groups gain a per-wallet scope: new groups default to the
active wallet's identity hash; legacy groups (empty scope) stay visible
in every wallet. Scope filter drives both the height budget and the rows.
- Remove the now-dead grid machinery (mktDrawCard, pfComputeGridLayout,
PfCell, PfGridDrag, MktCardCtx + MktCtx grid fields) — net code drop.
- Full UI sweep: seed demo portfolio groups + wavy price history and add
market-rows-{compact,detailed,featured} surfaces so the styles are
captured per skin (snapshot/restore the real portfolio + market data).
- i18n: portfolio_style_{label,compact,detailed,featured} + 8 langs; CJK
subset rebuilt.

First phase of multi-wallet support: keep each wallet's data separate so loading
a different wallet no longer shows the previous one's data, and lay the metadata
groundwork for the wallet-files list.
- Address book scoped per wallet: AddressBookEntry gains a "scope" ("global" or a
wallet-identity hash); the Contacts tab shows global + current-wallet contacts
(App::activeWalletIdentityHash) with a "show in every wallet" toggle + globe
badge. Legacy entries migrate to "global". Scope-aware de-dup allows the same
address across different wallets.
- Wallet metadata index (data/wallet_index -> wallets.json): file-keyed cache of
balance / address count / identity / size / last-opened / synced-here, since
those can't be read off a wallet.dat without loading it. Populated on connect +
address refresh (change-detecting upsert). Plus an active_wallet_file setting
for the -wallet=<name> switch coming in P2.
Unit-tested (testAddressBookScope, testWalletIndex): migration, visibility filter,
scope-aware de-dup, upsert change-detection, save/reload round-trip.

Fixes the Windows migrate-to-seed failure (the old bundled daemon lacked
z_exportmnemonic) and rounds out the flow:
- seed_wallet_creator: actionable "daemon too old" message instead of the
raw "Method not found" RPC error.
- Startup daemon-update prompt: if the wallet bundles a newer node than the
installed one, offer to update it (once per version, keyed on a new
daemon_update_prompted_size setting; never silently clobbers a custom
node). "Install bundled" now also works when attached to an external /
leftover daemon (RPC-stops it, then swaps + restarts).
- Migrate-to-seed Intro pre-flight: detect an already-mnemonic wallet
(offer backup instead), an old daemon, or a locked/disconnected wallet
before offering to create anything.
- No-funds path: a zero-balance wallet can adopt the new seed wallet
directly (behind an acknowledgement checkbox) instead of a dead sweep.
- Loading spinners on the Working/Sweeping/Adopting steps; sweep coverage
for the new intro / no-funds surfaces.
- Translations for all 18 new strings across 8 languages (+ rebuilt CJK
subset font).

Second half of "migrate a legacy wallet to a seed wallet": sweep all funds
into the new seed wallet, then adopt it as the primary wallet.
- Sweep (beginSweepToSeedWallet): z_mergetoaddress ["ANY_TADDR","ANY_ZADDR"]
-> the new wallet's z-address, at the default fee, limits 0,0. The opid is
tracked via the existing send-callback pipeline; the txid is persisted.
- Confirming gate (fund-safety): after the sweep, pollSweepStatus() polls the
tx confirmations + legacy balance. "Make this my wallet" only unlocks once
the sweep is MINED (>= 1 conf) AND the old wallet is empty — so wallet.dat is
never swapped while the funds could still bounce back or a remainder is left.
A too-big-for-one-tx remainder offers a "Sweep remaining" re-sweep.
- Adopt (beginAdoptSeedWallet, background): stop daemon -> move legacy
wallet.dat to a timestamped .bak (never deleted; restored on failure) ->
install the new wallet -> restart with -rescan. Exception-safe;
daemon_restarting_ gates tryConnect + is always cleared; skips the restart
while shutting down; beginShutdown joins the task first.
- Resume: a pending migration reopens at Sweep, or at Confirming if the sweep
txid is already recorded (re-derived from the chain) — never re-sweeps blind.
- Secret hygiene: the seed is wiped leaving ShowSeed, on any modal dismiss
(detected after BeginOverlayDialog), and in App::~App() (same fix applied to
the seed-backup dialog).
Built both variants; tests + hygiene pass. Two rounds of parallel adversarial
review (12 findings fixed, then a clean re-verify) gate this fund-moving code.
The migration modal uses English literals (as renderBackupDialog does); it gets
translated once the flow is finalized. Live sweep test against a funded wallet
is the next step.

First, fund-safe step of "migrate a legacy wallet to a seed wallet": mint a
brand-new BIP39 mnemonic wallet in an ISOLATED throwaway datadir so the user
can later sweep funds into it. No funds move and the real wallet.dat / main
daemon are never touched — the isolated node runs concurrently on its own port.
- EmbeddedDaemon: one-shot isolated-datadir override (setNextStartOverride)
consumed on the next start(); a skip-default-port-check for an isolated
instance beside the main daemon; and a tcpPortInUse() probe. The datadir's
basename must be the assetchain name (DRAGONX) and the daemon reads
<datadir>/DRAGONX.conf itself, so no -conf is passed (both learned from
live testing against the hd-transparent-keys daemon).
- SeedWalletCreator (src/daemon): picks a free port, writes a throwaway conf,
starts an isolated dragonxd with -usemnemonic=1 -connect=0, waits for RPC,
calls z_exportmnemonic + z_getnewaddress (the sweep target), stops it, and
keeps/scrubs the temp datadir. Off-thread; the seed is wiped after use.
- App: beginCreateSeedWallet (background) -> pumpSeedMigration (main-thread
handoff) -> renderSeedMigrationDialog (Intro -> Working -> Show seed ->
Error), reusing the seed_display grid + clipboard auto-clear.
- Settings: "Migrate to seed…" button (full-node gated) + persisted pending
migration state (dest address + temp datadir) for Phase 2 to adopt.
Validated end-to-end against the hd-transparent-keys daemon: the isolated
node comes up in ~4s and returns a 24-word mnemonic + a shielded z-address.
Requires that daemon (the bundled Jun-28 build lacks z_exportmnemonic). The
migration modal uses English literals for now (as renderBackupDialog does);
the whole flow gets translated once Phase 2 finalizes it. Phase 2 (sweep +
adopt) is next.

New full-node wallets now get a real 24-word recovery phrase, and users can
reveal/back it up from Settings.
- Pass -usemnemonic=1 to dragonxd. The daemon reads it only inside
GenerateNewSeed() when a wallet has no seed yet, so it is inert on existing
wallets (safe to pass unconditionally) and makes every freshly-created
wallet mnemonic-backed — its phrase is then exportable via z_exportmnemonic
and portable to SDXLite/ObsidianDragonLite. (Existing/legacy wallets are
unaffected and keep using the chat identity's z_exportkey fallback.)
- App::exportSeedPhrase() wraps z_exportmnemonic on the RPC worker with
sodium_memzero wiping on every path; it flags the daemon's "not derived
from a mnemonic" error as a legacy wallet rather than a failure.
- New "Back up seed phrase" modal (Settings -> Backup & Data, full-node
gated): reveals the phrase in a numbered word grid, copy (45s clipboard
auto-clear) + save-to-file (0600), wipes the secret on every close path
incl. dismiss-mid-fetch. Shared ui/windows/seed_display.h grid helper.
- One-time nudge (settings flag seed_backup_reminded) toasts mnemonic-wallet
users to back up their phrase; legacy wallets are not nagged.
- 15 new strings translated into all 8 languages (additive, 957->972 keys);
CJK subset font rebuilt for the new glyphs.

Flip DRAGONX_ENABLE_CHAT to default ON (a fresh configure now builds chat in),
and make full-node chat work for every wallet + any daemon.
Legacy compat: chat identity is derived from the wallet's mnemonic
(z_exportmnemonic) for a portable, SDXLite-compatible identity — but a legacy
random-seed wallet has no mnemonic, and released daemons don't have that RPC at
all. Provisioning now falls back to a stable z-address's spending key
(z_exportkey) in those cases: a functional, wallet-local identity that works on
any daemon. Since a chat identity is local (peers learn your public key from
your message headers, not your derivation), interop is unaffected; only
cross-client portability needs the mnemonic. The spending key is an in-memory
KDF input over a key the wallet already holds, wiped after use — no new exposure.
Stability: the chosen chat z-address (the reply-to in headers AND the legacy
identity source) is now persisted in settings (chat_reply_zaddr), so the
identity + reply address don't shift when new addresses are generated.
chatReplyZaddr() picks the smallest spendable z-addr once and reuses it.
CLAUDE.md updated to reflect the default flip. Verified: Linux + Windows build
with chat ON, fresh-configure default confirmed ON, ctest 100%, hygiene clean.

Portfolio group cards:
- Always show the secondary DRGX amount, including on 2-cell cards.
- Larger group icon + label (subtitle1); value stays subtitle1 for consistency.
- Minimum group width is now 8 cells (default width 8).
Price chart:
- Area fill is now a flat translucent fill matching the group-card sparklines
(dropped the vertical gradient + its primitive-API helper).
- Interval buttons sit near the top of the chart area (removed the empty gap
above them) with a comfortable gap below before the plot.
- The change badge's suffix now matches the SELECTED range (1H->1h, 1D->24h,
1W->7d, 1M->30d) instead of the raw data span (which read 23h / 6d).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Portfolio group minimum height is now 2 cells (was 3). Added a 2-cell card tier
that also drops the sparkline (not just the footer) so a ~58px card keeps the
header + hero value legible.
- Price chart: stop drawing a dot on every point — for a dense historical series
(>40 points) just the clean line + fill, and always mark the latest point
(current price) with a dot + ring.
- Y-axis labels use the shared adaptive price formatter (e.g. $0.0143) instead of
a fixed 6 decimals, so they're cleaner and narrower.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Chart:
- The price chart now plots the historical CoinGecko series with a Live/1H/1D/1W/1M
interval selector (top-left of the chart). Live = in-session buffer; 1H uses the
intraday 5-min series, 1D/1W/1M the daily series (via pfSparklineSeries). X-axis
labels are interval-aware ("~5h"/"~3d"/"~2w"/"~4mo"). Market-tab open kicks the
self-throttled market_chart fetch so history populates promptly.
- 24H volume + market cap moved from their own row onto the chart's top strip
(right side, next to the refresh button), reclaiming the empty band above the
chart; the hero header now holds just the price row + separator.
- More bottom padding under the plot so the time labels and the DRGX/USDT pair
buttons aren't crowded against the card edges.
Portfolio groups:
- Accent-outline opacity is now configurable per group (0-100%, default 25%) via a
slider in the editor's Appearance column; applied to the card + preview outline.
- Resize grip enlarged (14->20px) and a live "W x H" size readout is drawn while
resizing, so shrinking a group to the 4x3 minimum is reliable and visible.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Portfolio groups now default to the 3-cell minimum height (was 4). The card
design adapts: below ~112px it drops the redundant DRGX footer and uses the
compact hero font so a 3-cell card stays legible.
- Group accent color is now a colored outline around the whole card (and the
editor's live preview) instead of a stripe on the left edge; the text no longer
reserves the old left-stripe offset.
- Price chart: trim the empty band between the 24H VOLUME stats and the chart
(smaller hero-header bottom pad), and keep the Y-axis price labels inside the
card on narrow windows (clamp to the card's left edge + bump min y-axis padding
40->54) so they no longer spill onto the tab background.
- Market tab no longer draws a scrollbar (NoScrollbar); the portfolio grid still
scrolls via the mouse wheel.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replace the fill-to-height portfolio dashboard with a fine gapless grid of
~32px square cells whose column count scales to fill the tab width. The grid
extends past the window and the Market tab scrolls when cards are placed lower.
- Cells are a fixed square edge (>= ~32px), gapless; cards inset by 3dp so
neighbours don't touch. Column count = availWidth / 32dp (min pfMinW cols).
- Card minimum span is pfMinW x pfMinH (~128x96); layout/resize clamps to it.
New groups default to 6x4 cells.
- Content height reserves two extra rows below the lowest card so a card can be
dragged past the current bottom; the scroll child grows to match.
- Dot grid (shown while rearranging) softened and extended into the buffer rows.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Grid cells are now square (cellH = cellW); column count is responsive with a
2-column minimum, and a group's minimum size is 2x1 cells. New groups default
to 2x1; drag/resize/auto-place all enforce the 2-wide minimum.
- Fix: editing a group no longer resets its grid placement/size. The editor's
Save now starts from the existing entry and only overwrites the form fields,
so grid_col/row/w/h (and anything else off-form) are preserved.
- Add a per-group sparkline interval (Minute/Hour/Day/Week/Month) next to the
Sparkline toggle. The price history (~1 sample/min) is resampled by averaging
each interval's worth of minute-samples into one point.
PortfolioEntry gains sparklineInterval and defaults gridW=2. Persisted in
settings.json. Full-node + Lite build clean; ctest 1/1; hygiene clean.
Note: the app only accumulates in-session minute samples, so Hour/Day/Month
show points only once enough data has been collected; true long-range history
(instant day/month charts) would need a CoinGecko market_chart fetch, which can
be added separately.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Turn the portfolio group area into a dashboard grid:
- Responsive column count (1-4 by width); each 1x1 cell is one card.
- Drag a card to move it to another cell; drag its bottom-right corner to
resize (span multiple cells). Both snap to the grid.
- A subtle dot grid appears while rearranging (dragging or resizing), with a
highlighted drop-target / resize footprint.
- Click (no drag past a 4px threshold) still opens the group editor.
- Grid placement (col/row) and span (w/h) persist per group in settings.json;
positions are resolved each frame — stored placement when it fits, else
auto-placed row-major into free cells. Dropping onto an occupied cell swaps.
PortfolioEntry gains grid_col/grid_row/grid_w/grid_h. The card render was
refactored into a drawCard() lambda reused for the in-grid, dragged, and
resizing states.
Full-node + Lite build clean; ctest 1/1; hygiene clean. This is an interactive
feature I can't verify without the GUI — needs drag/resize testing.

Add a per-group "Sparkline" toggle (live-market bases only, like 24h). When on,
the group card draws a faint price-trend line in its lower band — the group's
value tracks the DRGX price, so it plots the market price_history (normalized),
colored green/red by overall direction. Behind the text so amounts stay
readable. The editor's live preview reflects it too.
Persisted as show_sparkline in settings.json; wired through PortfolioEntry +
the editor working state + the pfDrawSparkline() helper shared by card+preview.
Full-node + Lite build clean; ctest 1/1; hygiene clean. Rendering change —
needs a screenshot check.

Each portfolio group can now configure how it is valued and which price
fields its card shows:
- Price basis: Market · USD, Market · BTC, DRGX only, or Manual (a custom
price-per-DRGX + currency label). Manual mode values the group independently
of the live DRGX market price.
- Field toggles: show DRGX amount / show value / show 24h change (24h enabled
only for the live-market bases; value disabled for DRGX-only).
- The editor's left "Appearance" column gains a Price section (basis combo,
manual price + currency inputs, field checkboxes); the live preview and the
group cards both render through one pfBuildDisplay() helper so they stay in
sync. Defaults preserve the prior behavior (DRGX + USD).
Persisted in settings.json (price_basis / manual_price / manual_currency /
show_drgx / show_value / show_24h).
Note: "price source per exchange/pair" is limited to USD/BTC/Manual — the app
only fetches the aggregate DRGX price (USD + BTC); ExchangePair carries no
price, so valuing against an arbitrary pair's live price would need a new
market fetch (can be added separately).
Full-node + Lite build clean; ctest 1/1; hygiene clean. Rendering change —
needs a screenshot check.

- Rename the portfolio heading "MY DRGX" -> "PORTFOLIO".
- Group cards are now clickable: clicking one opens the editor directly on that
group (edit mode), with a hover highlight + hand cursor.
- PortfolioEntry gains an `icon` (project_icons wallet-icon name) and a `color`
(packed IM_COL32 accent); both are persisted in settings.json.
- Editor edit-mode gains an icon picker (the same wallet icon set as the overview
tab's address-label dialog, via material::project_icons) with a "None" option,
and a color picker (preset accent palette + a default/no-color swatch).
- Group cards render the chosen icon to the left of the name and, when a color
is set, a left accent bar + the icon tinted in that color.
Full-node + Lite build clean; ctest 1/1; hygiene clean. Rendering change — needs
a screenshot check of the Market portfolio + the editor.

Foundation for the Market tab's configurable portfolio (custom labels tied to
groups of addresses):
- Settings gains a PortfolioEntry {label, addresses[]} list, persisted in
settings.json as a JSON array-of-objects (same mechanism as lite_servers_),
with get/setPortfolioEntries().
- data/portfolio.h (header-only, ImGui-free): SumPortfolioBalance() sums a
group's DRGX balance against the live per-address list (unknown addresses
contribute 0), plus PortfolioEntryContains/Add/Remove group helpers.
- Unit-tested (testPortfolioHelpers): empty/known/unknown-address sums, and the
add/remove/contains membership semantics.
UI (editor dialog, Market card rework, Overview right-click) comes next.
Full-node + lite build clean; ctest green.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Fetch /coins/dragonx-2/tickers once per session (App::refreshExchanges, reusing the
price-fetch worker path) and build the exchange registry at runtime into
state.market.exchanges; parseCoinGeckoTickers groups tickers by venue. The Market tab
sources from this live list and falls back to the compiled-in registry (now including
OurBit + Nonkyc.io) when offline. Fixes the missing OurBit pair and auto-tracks future
listings.
- Fix stale selection defaults (TradeOgre / DRGX-BTC -> Nonkyc.io / DRGX/USDT) that never
matched the registry, and make the attribution generic ("Price data from CoinGecko").
- Reframe the single-asset portfolio card as a DRGX holdings dashboard: relabel to
"MY DRGX" and show the 24h change on the holdings value (colored by direction).

Data + service layer for supporting multiple mining pools:
- pool_registry: KnownPool table (pool.dragonx.is + pool.dragonx.cc) carrying
each pool's stratum host, xmrig algo, and stats-API schema; pure helpers
findKnownPoolByUrl / resolvePoolAlgo / parsePoolHashrate / chooseWeightedPool
(weighted-random by hashrate with incumbent stickiness).
- pool_stats_service: background, schema-aware hashrate fetcher (libcurl, TLS,
browser UA for Cloudflare) modelled on XmrigUpdater.
- settings: pool_select_mode (manual | auto_balance), string-serialized.
- i18n strings + unit tests (both stats schemas, algo resolution, weighted pick).
Note: pool.dragonx.cc's stratum host is us.dragonx.cc:3333 — the .cc domain is
only the Cloudflare-proxied web/API host and does not accept stratum on :3333.

A lite-wallet-only "Network" tab (full-node keeps the Peers tab; exactly one shows per variant)
to manage lightwalletd servers, replacing the basic selector that was in Settings.
- Card list of servers with per-server latency + status dot, DNS host + resolved IP, and an
Official/Custom pill. Official DragonX servers get a glowing outline.
- Pick a server (Sticky) by clicking its card, or toggle "use a random server" (Random mode);
selection applies immediately (App::rebuildLiteWallet(force=true) tears down + rebuilds the
controller against the new server and resyncs — its dtor detaches the uninterruptible sync
thread, so this doesn't block).
- Add custom servers; hide/unhide servers (persisted set, revealed by a "Show hidden" toggle).
- Latency/IP come from a new background probe (util/LiteServerProbe): libcurl CONNECT_ONLY does
the TCP+TLS handshake (works for gRPC lightwalletd, no HTTP response needed), recording
APPCONNECT_TIME as latency and CURLINFO_PRIMARY_IP. Auto-runs on tab open + a Refresh button.
Wiring: WalletUiSurface::LiteNetwork (gated !fullNodePagesAvailable) + NavPage::LiteNetwork in
the sidebar + app.cpp dispatch; settings gains a hidden-servers set; isOfficialLiteServer() added
to lite_connection_service. The Settings page lite-server selector + its plumbing are removed
(single source of truth = the tab).
Reuses the existing server model (LiteServerPreference, Sticky/Random, selectLiteServer) and UI
primitives (DrawGlassPanel, ThemeEffects glow, peers-tab ping-dot idiom). Unit-tested
(liteServerHost, isOfficialLiteServer) + an env-gated live probe (verified vs lite.dragonx.is:
online, latency, IP). Both variants + lite-backend build; suite passes; hygiene clean; GUI
smoke-launched without crash.

Wires util::XmrigUpdater into the GUI:
- ui/windows/xmrig_download_dialog.h: a modal (mirrors BootstrapDownloadDialog) that drives
the updater — Checking -> Up-to-date/Update-available -> Downloading/Verifying/Extracting ->
Done/Failed, with a progress bar and a "verified against its published checksum" note. On
success it persists the installed release tag to settings. Rendered each frame from App::render.
- mining_tab: an "Update miner…" button in the pool section, disabled (with a tooltip) while
xmrig is running so a live binary is never replaced.
- settings: persist the installed DRG-XMRig tag (xmrig_version) for update detection.
Both variants build; suite passes; GUI smoke-launched without crashing.

Adds a fail-open, local-only gate that decides whether the lite wallet may run,
so a post-release issue can disable it and rollout can be staged — without any
phone-home (privacy posture: no runtime network fetch; the per-install rollout
bucket is a hashed, never-transmitted local id).
- wallet/lite_rollout_policy.{h,cpp}: a pure decision core. Order — emergency env
kill-switch (absolute) -> local override -> manifest gates (global enable /
version floor-ceiling / blocklist / staged-rollout permille) -> fail-open allow.
Plus a JSON manifest loader (missing/invalid -> fail-open) and FNV-1a bucketing.
- Threads the decision through LiteWalletController -> LiteWalletLifecycleService:
new availability() reason RolloutDisabled blocks create/open/restore and surfaces
the gate's user-facing message via the lifecycle status.
- App::rebuildLiteWallet() resolves it from: DRAGONX_LITE_KILL_SWITCH (env), the
lite_rollout setting (auto/force_on/force_off), and a locally-cached manifest at
<config-dir>/lite_rollout.json. install id generated once via libsodium.
- Settings: persist lite_rollout override + the install id.
A signed remote fetcher can populate the manifest cache later without touching the
policy. Unit-tested (version compare, bucketing, override/env precedence, manifest
gates, staged rollout, loader fail-open, controller integration) and runtime-verified
on Linux (env kill-switch, manifest disable, control sync). Both variants build;
full suite passes; hygiene clean.

Add an encrypted SQLite transaction history cache with cached tip metadata and
per-address shielded scan progress so startup and full refreshes avoid
re-scanning every z-address while still invalidating on wallet/address/rescan
changes.
Improve wallet history loading by paging transparent transactions, preserving
cached shielded and sent rows, keeping recent/unconfirmed activity visible, and
classifying mining-address receives. Show z_sendmany opid sends immediately in
History and Overview, pin pending rows through refreshes, and apply optimistic
address/balance debits until opids resolve.
Add timestamped RPC console tracing by source/method without logging params or
results, reduce redundant refresh/RPC calls, and cache Explorer recent block
summaries in SQLite.
Expand focused tests for transaction cache encryption, scan-progress
persistence/invalidation, history preservation, operation-status parsing,
pending send visibility, and Explorer/RPC refresh behavior.
