A large RPC result was fully split into lines and copied before being
handed to the console, even though only the last few lines could survive
the model's line cap.
- The formatter now takes a line cap and keeps only the last N lines,
located by a backward newline scan, so a huge result is never fully
split or copied. JSON classification still keys off the first
character of the whole result.
- It works over a string view and moves line text through, and fold
spans are computed over the formatted lines directly instead of a
separate vector of copies.
- getline semantics are preserved: a trailing newline adds no empty
line and an empty result yields no lines.
Tests: getline parity for empty, trailing-newline and blank-line inputs,
the backward tail cap, and JSON classification and fold spans over a
capped result.

When the daemon disconnects, teardown stops the fast RPC worker without
draining its queued main-thread callbacks. The console busy gate was
released inside that callback, so a command whose callback was discarded
left the input disabled for the rest of the session.
- The busy gate now drops from an RAII guard at the end of the worker
job itself, so it is released however the job ends: success, error, or
a worker torn down undrained.
- The result is published to the console before the gate drops, so a
freed-up console always has the output queued.
- An unknown, non-std::exception failure is now caught and reported
instead of escaping the job.
User-visible: the Console input can no longer stay stuck disabled after
a reconnect.

A rescan or key import holds the node's cs_main for the whole wallet
scan. On the shared clients it hit the 30 s curl timeout, reported a
failure that wasn't one, abandoned a daemon RPC slot and flipped the app
into "node busy".
- One long wallet RPC at a time (rescan, importprivkey, importaddress,
importwallet, z_importkey, z_importviewingkey, z_importwallet) runs on
its own ungated client with no client timeout (rpc/long_call_lane.h).
It can be aborted from any thread, and an abort is never lost, even
one that lands before the client opens.
- The GUI rescan, key import and sweep use it. The sweep's fund-moving
body is unchanged; only the client it calls differs. runtimeRescan()
returns bool, and a refused post-bootstrap reconcile stays armed.
- The console routes rescan and the import commands through the lane;
its input stays usable meanwhile, and a refusal is printed like any
other result. RPCClient gains callRaw(.., timeoutSec).
- Restart, wallet switch, delete-chain, bootstrap (now also from
Settings) and the other node-stopping flows are refused while it runs,
with a message saying a key import or rescan is still running; quit
asks for confirmation. The lane is aborted at quit.
- A second import or rescan is refused before the key is copied anywhere.
An import cut off after the request reached the node (a lost reply,
or a proxy's 502/504 while the node still imports) says the key may
already be in the wallet and to run Settings -> Rescan. Only the
node's own HTTP-layer refusals (401, 503, work queue full, unhandled
request) say that the key was not imported. A pure
classifyLongCallCutOff() makes that choice.
- New strings in all 8 languages; console results stay English.
Tests: the long-method list and the console's routing; one lane at a
time; an abort lands whether it comes before the client opens or during
the call; a call with no client timeout outlasts a 3 s scan, where a 1 s
gated client times out and marks the node busy; classifyLongCallCutOff()
for every failure kind with and without a sent request, and from raw
HTTP replies (502, 504, a plain 500 -> cut off; 401, 503, queue full,
unhandled -> refused).

The balance, address scan, history and probe were throttled one by one at
10% each, which added up to 30-40% of dragonxd's cs_main with all of them
due. services::WalletScanGovernor runs one wallet scan at a time across
both RPC lanes and keeps one shared quiet clock at 15% of wall-clock (cut
when the node is behind). Waiters are served first in, first out, with a
head start for what the page shows and a starvation floor of max(30 s
visible / 900 s hidden, 15x the stream's cost). Explicit work (a dirty
set, the user's send, a first load) is never refused but is charged.
Routine scans run only when the tip, the mempool size (getmempoolinfo:
no cs_main) or a wallet-mutation epoch changed since their last good scan,
or a safety sweep is due. Pages that don't show the balance poll it at
most every max(10 min, 50x its cost) (2 min with client-side auto-shield);
coming back into view with an old value fetches it at once. The staleness
badge counts from the last poll that confirmed nothing changed, and hides
while the budget holds the balance within its guarantee.

- Explorer: the tip check runs every frame the Explorer tab is open,
and it read both tip rows and rewrote them each time (two autocommit
WAL writes per frame). A steady tip is now kept in memory and skips
SQLite. A new tip writes both rows in one savepoint, so a crash
between them can't pair a new height with the old hash. A test
checks that 100 steady checks write nothing.
- Console: while the daemon was in the Error state the Console tab
added its error line on every poll, i.e. every frame, re-laying out
the whole buffer each time. It prints once per error now: on entering
Error, when the message changes, or after another crash
(EmbeddedDaemon::getUnexpectedExitCount(), never reset). setState
writes the message before the state, so a reader that sees Error sees
that error's message. The stray " ===" suffix is gone.
- perf.log: the profiler appended a block every 300 frames on every
run and never rotated the file (tens of MB a day for a wallet left
open). It is now off unless the app starts with DRAGONX_PERFLOG=1;
otherwise its zone hooks are near no-ops.

Each chat message is a shielded tx that spends a verified note, so a burst of
messages hit "insufficient verified funds" once the single note is spent. Add a
per-frame note-buffer coordinator (both variants) that keeps ~10 verified
spendable notes: it serializes sends through the one broadcast channel, counts
verified notes by block depth (lite) or a rate-limited z_listunspent scan
(full node), self-splits in the background to refill toward the target, and
queues overflow to drain as change matures — with honest Sent/Failed status
instead of the prior optimistic "Sent". Guardrails: single split in flight with
a watchdog, cooldown, and session-generation guards so a wallet switch can't
drain another wallet's queue. Surface a "Chat buffer: N/10 ready" indicator in
the status bar while the Chat tab is active, and route chat diagnostics through
the console on both variants (the full-node console now drains the shared ring).

Give the lite console the parity analog of the full-node RPC command
reference: the same searchable two-pane modal (browse/search, detail
pane, examples, Insert / Insert & run, destructive confirm), driven by
the lite backend's own command set instead of daemon RPC.
- ConsoleCommandExecutor::commandReference() returns the category table
(full node = consoleCommandCategories(); lite = new
liteConsoleCommandCategories() -- 25 backend verbs in 5 categories).
The shared renderCommandsPopup reads the table from the executor.
- The Commands button now shows for both variants (gated on
commandReference()!=nullptr); title/tooltip/arg-quoting branch on
hasRpcReference() (clarified to mean "speaks JSON-RPC / full node").
- Lite args are bare tokens (the backend takes one unsplit arg string
and does not strip quotes), so the param-builder's JSON string
auto-quoting is disabled for lite -- Insert & run emits runnable bare
commands. send uses the JSON-array form (its positional form is
unreachable via the single-arg transport); new uses zs/R; import
takes just the key (the backend hardcodes birthday=0).
Adds 7 i18n keys across all 8 languages (additive). Full-node behavior
is unchanged. Adversarially reviewed (data vs the backend registry,
plumbing/regression, i18n) with all findings fixed.

The lite console tab lagged the full-node one on i18n: its toolbar status,
status lines, help, and error/warning strings were hard-coded English or
worded for a full node (a "daemon" the lite wallet doesn't have).
- toolbarStatus()/statusLines(): route through TR() (reusing the existing
lite_net_* keys where they already map)
- printHelp(): enumerate the 25 pass-through backend verbs for discoverability,
since the C++ tab intercepts `help` before the backend's own HelpCommand runs
- gate the destructive 'stop' confirmation to the full node (hasRpcReference);
lite has no node, so it lets 'stop' fall through to the backend instead of
showing a phantom "shut down the node" warning behind a dead gate
- word the not-connected error per variant (daemon vs "no wallet open")
- TR() the "(no output)" command-result fallback
Adds 7 i18n keys across all 8 languages (additive); rebuilds the CJK subset
for the one new glyph (U+C5D4 for the Korean "backend"). Build + ctest +
source-hygiene green; changes adversarially verified (no logic/i18n defects).

- Send: re-validate against LIVE state at the "Confirm & Send" click (connected,
not syncing, amount > 0, total <= available). The confirm dialog persists
across frames, so a balance drop / sync restart / fee bump after Review could
otherwise broadcast a now-invalid transaction; it now shows a clear message
instead of sending.
- Console: a malformed JSON argument ({...}/[...] that fails to parse) was
silently sent to the daemon as a plain string. Now the command fails with a
clear "Argument N is not valid JSON" line instead of being silently mangled.

The app-wide "import-key pattern" fixes (missing guards / untrimmed input / no
re-entrancy protection), from the robustness audit:
- Import-key dialog: unify the type indicator and the RPC dispatch on one
classifier (classifyPrivateKey is now prefix-aware — an "SK..." shielded key no
longer misroutes to the transparent RPC), trim manual input (not just Paste),
and gate both the indicator and the Import button on a shared
isRecognizedPrivateKey() so unrecognized/empty input can't be submitted.
- Shield: guard the submit button on connected + !syncing (like Send), with a
disabled tooltip, instead of firing into a raw daemon error.
- Mining: disable the pool Mine button when the payout address is empty
("enter a payout address first"), and trim the pool URL/worker on persist.
- Console: track in-flight RPC commands (atomic counter + busy() override) so the
input is disabled while a command runs instead of piling up on the worker.
- Maintenance (rescan/repair/delete-chain/reinstall-daemon): re-entrancy guard —
bail with "already in progress" instead of launching a duplicate destructive op.
- Bootstrap dialog: re-attach to an in-flight download on reopen instead of
resetting state and orphaning the running worker.

- Lower the zebra-stripe contrast (scanline-line-alpha 4 -> 2; the derived dark
band softens with it) so the alternating rows are subtler.
- Give the input's terminal bar a 1px outline along its own edges (theme-aware),
matching the output panel's glass rim, and a near-white surface on light skins.
- Add a blinking terminal caret at the end of the input when it isn't focused.
- Report a daemon started before the wallet ("no wallet-managed EmbeddedDaemon"
but RPC connected) as "Running" instead of the misleading "no daemon".

Make ConsoleChannel the canonical semantic classification of every console
line. Producers (command executor, app log forwarders, result formatter) tag
each line with a channel; the UI derives both the text color and the left
accent-bar color from it at draw time, and the output filter keys off it.
This replaces the prior scheme of storing an ImU32 color per line and then
reverse-engineering the source from color-equality plus a "[daemon] "/"[xmrig] "
/"[app] "/"[rpc] " text prefix. Consequences:
- ConsoleLine now stores {text, ConsoleChannel} — no per-line color.
- addLine()/addRpcTraceLine() take a channel; the redundant text prefixes are
gone (the accent bar carries the origin).
- The executor's ConsoleAddLineFn hands a channel, not an ImU32, so the backend
no longer depends on ConsoleTab::COLOR_* — FullNode/Lite executors emit clean
text + channel.
- The theme-remap loop that rewrote stored colors on light/dark flip is deleted;
colors are resolved per-channel each frame (refreshColors on flip only).
- ConsoleOutputFilter drops its color fields; consoleLinePassesFilter() keys off
the channel. Test updated to the channel-based API.
- Added a Warning channel (amber severity peer of Error/Success) so the
notification + logger warning forwarders keep their color.
Full-node + lite build clean; ctest green; source hygiene clean.

The two consoles were separate implementations (the rich full-node ConsoleTab and a
minimal RenderLiteConsoleTab). Introduce ConsoleCommandExecutor to abstract the only
real differences — command execution + log source — so both variants share the one rich
terminal (the lite console now gains selection, zoom, copy, and JSON-colored output).
- console_command_executor.{h,cpp}: interface + FullNodeConsoleExecutor (dragonxd log
ingestion + RPC command execution, result queue) and LiteConsoleExecutor (lite
diagnostics ring + backend runConsoleCommand/takeConsoleResult, connection/sync status).
- ConsoleTab::render() now takes a ConsoleCommandExecutor&; log ingestion, command
submission, and command results flow through it. The RPC command-reference popup and
the daemon/errors/rpc-trace/app filter toggles are gated on the executor's capabilities;
the toolbar status dot + a status header come from the executor.
- Safety preserved: `clear`/`cls` is intercepted as a view-only clear in the shared UI so
it is NEVER forwarded (the lite backend's `clear` wipes tx history); command output is
not persisted to diagnostics.
- App owns the executor (created per variant) and routes both NavPages to console_tab_;
lite_console_tab.{h,cpp} deleted.
Needs runtime verification of BOTH consoles (full-node RPC + lite: clear, seed/export
secrecy, sync status, command results).
