Finishes the feedback-conventions hygiene thread: ~30 hardcoded ImVec4 green /
red / amber literals used for success / error / warning text now use
material::Success/Error/WarningVec4(), so semantic status colors follow the
active skin and stay legible in every theme (several hardcoded greens/reds read
poorly on the light/pastel skins). Covers validate-address, transaction-details,
key-export, export-all-keys, about, the Settings confirmations/lock state, and
the encryption/decryption dialogs. Brand/logo colors and muted white/grey
(disabled) text are left as-is; dynamic-alpha animated indicators are untouched.

- Explorer: a hash lookup now tells a transport/RPC failure apart from a genuine
not-found (RPC -5/-8), showing "Lookup failed: <friendly error>" instead of
"no block or transaction found"; block-detail errors routed through
friendlyRpcError. getblock/getblockhash/getrawtransaction calls unchanged.
- Key-export: when the wallet is locked, the dialog now says "Unlock your wallet
first" with an Unlock button (lite → requestLiteUnlock; full-node → close to
reveal the lock screen) instead of a raw error, and the fetching state animates
with LoadingDots. The export RPC/args are unchanged.
(i18n.cpp carries the additive keys for these and the chat/CSV commits below.)

- Seed-backup dialog: a failed "Save to file" was drawn in the success (green)
colour; it's now red on failure, green on success (flag reset on close).
- Encrypt-wallet dialog: the disabled Encrypt button now says why once the user
starts typing ("Use at least 8 characters." / "The passphrases don't match."),
and a "Show passphrase" checkbox reveals both fields.
- Key-export dialog: the raw RPC exception (e.g. "...walletpassphrase first")
is routed through util::friendlyRpcError(), so a locked wallet reads
"Unlock your wallet first, then try again." instead of daemon jargon.

Bundles the session's UI work (the touched files carry several of these
changes together, so they are committed as one coherent UI batch):
- FAQ: new RenderFaqDialog + data-driven faq_content, opened from a
status-bar "?" (and the Windows title bar), styled like the Wallets
modal with search, Wallet/Daemon tabs, and smooth scroll.
- DPI/font-scale audit: multiply hand-drawn absolute geometry by
Layout::dpiScale() across ~30 files so nothing renders native-size at
HiDPI / font_scale 1.5 (verified with a full sweep at 1.5x).
- Mining: chart now fills the horizontal space; thread stepper +/- buttons
match the input-box height; move the stratum-host toggle into
Node & Security (v1.3.0+).
- Settings: fix the auto-shield status text overlapping the grid.
- Sidebar: drop the peer-count badge on the Network button.
- i18n: wrap 193 hardcoded literals with TR() (keys/translations added in
the preceding i18n commit), so the security/PIN/lock flow, seed-backup
wizard, and witness-rebuild dialog localize.

Addresses the cross-screen inconsistencies from the layout audit by routing screens onto
the design system's own (previously under-used) shared helpers:
- Dialog footers: migrate ~9 overlay dialogs off hand-rolled placement onto the shared
helpers — DialogActionFooter (primary+Close), DialogConfirmFooter, or
BeginOverlayDialogFooter for custom/multi-button rows — so footers share one centered
treatment. All footer/action buttons now use TactileButton (glass press) instead of the
bare StyledButton some dialogs used.
- Empty states: add a shared material::DrawEmptyState(icon, title, hint) (centered icon +
title + wrapped hint) and adopt it in Peers, Transactions, and Market-portfolio, which
previously showed a bare left-aligned caption.
- Security dialogs: add the missing Cancel to Change Passphrase and Set PIN so the whole
security family shares a two-button footer (Cancel dismisses without applying).
- Transactions pager: shared TactileButton helpers (matching Explorer).
- Frosted-pane rounding: Contacts/Chat use Layout::glassRounding() instead of hardcoded
12/10/8px literals, matching Peers.
- "Set Label..." title loses its stray trailing ellipsis.
Preserves every button's label and action; the transfer footer's order becomes
[Confirm][Cancel] to match the shared helper's primary-first convention. Verified at 1280
across full-node + Lite + Windows (ctest green) and an adversarial diff review (clean).

Two verified medium leaks in the B7 scrub chain:
- parseRpcResult parses the body into a local `response` tree and returns a COPY
of response["result"] (operator[] yields an lvalue ref, so the by-value return
copy-constructs). The local tree — holding its own heap copy of the secret — was
then freed without zeroing, so callSecret/callSecretString still left one
un-scrubbed copy. Add scrubJsonSecrets() (recursive string zero) and a
scrubSource flag; the secret paths opt in, wiping the tree before it frees. The
secret export chain is now fully covered: raw body → parse tree → result copy →
caller-owned string.
- key_export_dialog cleared s_key with plain std::string::clear() on the Close
button, the scrim/Esc dismiss path, and the QR cache (s_qr_cached) — leaving the
displayed private/spending key in freed heap on the ordinary close paths. Route
all three through wallet::secureWipeLiteSecret (zero-then-clear), matching
show()/hide().

Four confirmed findings from the review pass:
SECURITY — B7 was incomplete:
- The single-key Export dialog (key_export_dialog) still used plain call() for
z_exportkey/dumpprivkey/z_exportviewingkey — a live spending-key leak on the
most common per-address export path, missed by the B7 commit.
- callSecret() zeros the raw body but the parsed json holds its OWN heap copy of
the secret; several callers did .get<string>() on a temporary json and freed
that copy un-wiped.
Fix: add RPCClient::callSecretString() — returns the bare-string result with
BOTH the raw body AND the json node zeroed, so callers can't forget. Route
key_export_dialog (×2), exportPrivateKey, and export_all_keys (×2) through it;
scrub the z_exportmnemonic json node in seed_wallet_creator (object result);
also wipe the transient key copies, the displayed s_key on reset, and the
aggregated export-all `keys` buffer.
CHAT:
- Jump-to-latest pill: SetCursorScreenPos moved the parent cursor and never
restored it, so the composer footer rendered ~8px too high while scrolled up.
Save + restore the cursor around the pill.
- New-message toast: gating on a chatUnreadCount() watermark delta could be
swallowed when an outgoing echo (wall-clock) pushed the seen-watermark past a
later reply's block time. ingest() now reports the cids it appended; the toast
fires when any is a non-muted conversation — skew-proof, still mute-aware.

The Export-Key dialog sized its card to a fixed 85% of the window width. On a large
monitor that's ~1570px, but the content is ~900px, and AddressCopyField centers its
text-clamped box within the available width — so the address/key fields floated far
from their left-aligned "Address:"/"Viewing Key:" labels and read as off-center
(more visible after the warning box became a left-aligned DialogWarningHeader).
Derive the card width from the address field's own natural (chunked) box width —
the widest deterministic element before the key is revealed — mirroring
AddressCopyField's boxW math, plus the overlay card's 28px-per-side content inset so
the address sits on one line under its label. Adapts to address type (z vs t) and
font scale with no magic width; bounded to 85% of the window as an upper safety
limit; the revealed key+QR layout adapts to whatever width results. Width-only
change — the key fetch/wipe/mask/close logic is untouched.

Register sweep surfaces for the redesigned Wave-2 modals so they get captured for
visual review: modal-shield + modal-merge (ShieldDialog's two modes),
modal-transfer (a z->t transfer so the converted deshielding DialogWarningHeader
renders), and modal-key-export (KeyExportDialog — named distinctly from the
settings modal-export-key). Each setup opens the dialog through its public show()
without clicking any button, so no async RPC fires; teardown closes it.
Adds a static hide() to ShieldDialog and KeyExportDialog for clean sweep teardown
(AddressTransferDialog already had close()). KeyExportDialog::hide() also clears the
revealed key + frees its QR, mirroring the dialog's own close/dismiss secret-wipe.

Presentation-only migration of KeyExportDialog::render (reveals a private or
viewing key) — a secret-handling modal:
- struct-form BeginOverlayDialog(OverlayDialogSpec{BlurFloat, cardWidth cardW,
idSuffix keyexport}) replacing the legacy positional overload
- replace the bespoke red-bordered "WARNING" box with material::DialogWarningHeader
(user-approved) so the key-export warning matches the import-key reference; passes
the correct per-key-type body key (private vs viewing)
- remove the two dividers (after the warning, above the Close footer)
- 4 StyledButton -> TactileButton (retry / reveal / show-hide / close)
The secret path is byte-for-byte unchanged: the z_exportkey/dumpprivkey/
z_exportviewingkey (and lite exportPrivateKeys) fetch + their secureWipeLiteSecret
calls, the "*"-masking when hidden, the Show/Hide toggle, copySecretToClipboard
(auto-clearing), the QR generate/cache/releaseQr, and the secret-clear on BOTH exit
paths (Close button + the post-EndOverlayDialog dismiss teardown).
Verified: build + ctest + hygiene clean; a 2-lens adversarial review
(secret-hygiene / presentation-fund) returned zero findings, proving every
secret-handling path diffs byte-for-byte identical to HEAD.

Address a cluster of low-severity robustness nits where an async
callback could be skipped (leaving a spinner spinning forever) or a
synchronous action could be re-fired mid-flight:
- app_network: add catch(...) fallbacks around the importPrivateKey and
submitZSendMany worker lambdas so a non-std throw can't escape the
worker and skip the main-thread callback (stuck "Importing…"/"Sending…").
- export_transactions: re-entrancy guard disabling Export while a write
is in flight.
- bootstrap_download: disable Cancel once clicked so the request is
visibly acknowledged and can't be re-fired before the worker stops.
- network_tab: give clear "already in list" feedback on a duplicate
server (keep the inputs, clear only the stale invalid-URL error) and
disable/relabel Refresh while a probe is in flight.
- key_export: offer Retry from the error branch (falls back to Reveal)
and guard against an empty/malformed address before dispatching.
- receive_tab: only enter the "generating…" state when a dispatch is
actually possible (guards a stuck spinner when disconnected).

Network tab: glow only the active node, drop the left accent bar. Key-export
dialog: fix the lite-wallet "Not connected" failure by exporting the key
locally via the SDXL backend when there's no daemon; rework the layout to
wrapping click-to-copy fields with a side QR (empty placeholder when hidden),
85% modal width, HRP-preserving key chunking, and a centered, emphasized
warning. QR popup matched to the same sizing and click-to-copy address. Shared
field rendering extracted to widgets/copy_field.h so both dialogs stay in sync.

Three layout fixes in the export-key modal, all symptoms of widths/heights
authored as raw pixels while text scales with the user's font setting:
- "Copy to Clipboard" no longer clips — the Show/Hide · Copy · QR buttons are
auto-width (size 0) so they always fit their label;
- those buttons now share one font, so Show/Hide matches Copy (was a smaller
toggle-button font);
- the read-only address and key fields are sized to the wrapped text instead
of a fixed 60/80px, removing the empty space below their value.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
From a screenshot at a non-default font scale: the red WARNING box clipped its text
("...balance, but" cut off) because it used a fixed 80px child height while the text inside
scales with the font. Make the warning box auto-size to its content (ImGuiChildFlags_AutoResizeY)
so it never clips at any scale, and scale the address / key read-only field heights by
Layout::dpiScale() for the same reason. Complements the card-width scaling fix.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Auto-clear: the Copy button now routes through App::copySecretToClipboard, so a copied
private/viewing key is wiped from the clipboard after ~45s (same protection as the seed) with
a "auto-clears" notice — instead of the raw SetClipboardText that left it indefinitely.
- QR: once the key is revealed, a Show/Hide QR toggle renders the key's QR inline (via the same
GenerateQRTexture/RenderQRCode widget the Receive tab uses) for scanning into another wallet.
The QR texture is cached, regenerated on key change, and freed on hide/close/dismiss; hiding the
key also hides its QR.
- Actions row tightened to Show/Hide · Copy · QR, and the key + QR texture are now cleared on any
dismissal (Close button, scrim click, Esc), not just the Close button.

Add an encrypted SQLite transaction history cache with cached tip metadata and
per-address shielded scan progress so startup and full refreshes avoid
re-scanning every z-address while still invalidating on wallet/address/rescan
changes.
Improve wallet history loading by paging transparent transactions, preserving
cached shielded and sent rows, keeping recent/unconfirmed activity visible, and
classifying mining-address receives. Show z_sendmany opid sends immediately in
History and Overview, pin pending rows through refreshes, and apply optimistic
address/balance debits until opids resolve.
Add timestamped RPC console tracing by source/method without logging params or
results, reduce redundant refresh/RPC calls, and cache Explorer recent block
summaries in SQLite.
Expand focused tests for transaction cache encryption, scan-progress
persistence/invalidation, history preservation, operation-status parsing,
pending send visibility, and Explorer/RPC refresh behavior.
