DanSandClaude Opus 4.8 ae4012adb7 feat(recovery): offer legacy-fund recovery when a degraded wallet can't shield its transparent funds
Phase 1 of automating legacy wallet.dat migration: a persistent, actionable banner that detects a wallet
whose transparent funds are STUCK and offers the migrate-to-seed recovery flow (showSeedMigrationDialog).

Corrected trigger (the important part): it fires ONLY when wallet_degraded_ is set — i.e. z_getnewaddress
failed with "HD seed not found", so the wallet genuinely cannot create a shielded address to move its
funds — AND there is a transparent balance to move. It is NOT driven by "the wallet has no mnemonic": a
non-mnemonic but functional wallet (one that self-healed with a retrofit HD seed on load) has
wallet_degraded_ == false, can still shield/spend, and is deliberately never flagged — matching the
existing "legacy wallets are not nagged" policy. Full-node only.

Implemented in the already-unit-tested node banner: new NodeBannerReason::LegacyFundsStuck +
NodeBannerAction::RecoverLegacyFunds, gated on a new legacy_funds_stuck input (App computes it from
wallet_degraded_ + transparentBalance). NoPeers still takes priority (can't recover before the node sees
the chain); lite never shows it. Pure decision tests added: fires when stuck, never for a functional
wallet, yields to NoPeers, suppressed on lite.

DanSandClaude Opus 4.8 0101cc707c feat(network): a clear auth-failed node banner with a fix-it action
When the node rejects the wallet's RPC login (bad rpcuser/rpcpassword), the
status bar showed developer jargon ("Auth failed — check rpcuser/rpcpassword")
and the only action was Reconnect, which just repeats the failure. Now a
dedicated AuthFailed banner reason surfaces "Wallet can't sign in to the node"
with a plain-language detail and a real fix: Restart node for the embedded
daemon (regenerates its cookie creds) or Open config folder for an external one
(to fix DRAGONX.conf). Driven by a new rpc_auth_failed_ flag (set on the auth
path, cleared on each connect attempt), with evaluator unit tests.

DanSandClaude Opus 4.8 750771ebfb feat(network): give the "no peers" banner an honest detail and a Restart action
The no-peers banner headline ("Connected, but no network peers") was followed
by a detail line that just repeated connection_status ("Connected"/"Peers: 0"),
reading as a contradiction, and it offered no action at the exact moment the
wallet looks synced but is silently stalled at a stale height.

- NoPeers now clears the passthrough detail; App renders a translated,
  actionable hint (node_banner_no_peers_detail) for this reason instead.
- When the embedded daemon is the node, offer a Restart button (re-triggers
  peer discovery via the -addnode seeds); an external node stays action-less
  since it is the user's own to restart.
- Update + extend the evaluator unit tests (external = no action/empty detail;
  embedded = RestartNode).

DanSandClaude Opus 5.5 1215ded1a0 feat(ui): say "Node busy" instead of "Launching dragonxd"; honest quit copy
A node rebuilding note witnesses for an hour was shown as "Starting
DragonX node... Launching dragonxd", which invited closing it.

- Overlay, a new NodeBusy banner and the status bar now say what the node
  is doing (rebuilding witnesses / catching up on blocks / up but not
  answering), with the elapsed time and Phase-1 block progress. A rebuild
  during startup warm-up replaces the stale "-28 Activating best chain"
  text, and the overlay re-applies its text once a second instead of only
  on a connect attempt (30s apart while the node is busy).
- Quit prompt: elapsed time, "Keep node running & quit" is the default,
  "Stop anyway & quit" becomes "Stop node & wait" (it no longer kills).
- A reinstall skipped because the node is still running now notifies.
- Status bar: don't repeat the warm-up status on the right, and don't
  print "Connected" there in non-English locales.
- i18n: 31 new keys in all 8 languages; 10 dead force-quit/old-modal keys
  removed; CJK subset rebuilt for the new glyphs.
- Tests: chooseDaemonStatus, NodeBusy banner priority, and every new key
  present in all 8 JSONs with matching printf conversions.

DanSandClaude Opus 4.8 fae8b20fb7 fix: FAQ CJK glyphs, outgoing-tx history, lite encryption, migrate & sync safety
Bug-report fixes plus adversarial-audit follow-ups. Bumps full 2.0.1->2.0.2 and
lite 1.1.0->1.1.1.

i18n / fonts:
- Rebuild the NotoSansCJK subset with the glyphs the FAQ back-fill introduced
  (什/么/门/做); Chinese FAQ titles rendered as "??" on zh (and ja/ko).

Transaction history (enumeration gaps):
- Surface outgoing shielded z->z sends via z_listsentbyaddress (listtransactions
  and z_listreceivedbyaddress never report them).
- Surface z->t deshields by parsing z_listsentbyaddress transparentSends (which
  z_viewtransaction does not expose); dedupe t->t against listtransactions.
- Key send-row dedup on address so equal-value multi-output sends aren't dropped.

Lite wallet (key safety):
- The async create/restore/open path the UI uses now applies the passphrase:
  encrypt a new/restored wallet, unlock an existing one. It previously discarded
  the passphrase, storing the seed/keys in PLAINTEXT (create/restore) or leaving
  an encrypted wallet locked (open).

Migrate-to-seed (fund safety):
- Persist a sweep-submitted marker at broadcast so a resumed migration can't treat
  a ~0 balance (an unconfirmed in-flight sweep) as an empty wallet and adopt (swap
  wallet.dat) before the sweep confirms; best-effort locate routes to the confirm gate.

Sync / threading:
- Gate isSynced() on a peer-derived tip (tip_known) so a peerless node isn't reported
  synced (Send against a stale balance); add a "no peers" status banner.
- Guard daemon_status_ with a mutex (monitor-thread write vs UI-thread read).

Tests: extends tests/test_phase4.cpp across all of the above; suite green.

DanSandClaude Opus 4.8 e779ded2e8 feat(diagnostics): persistent node/RPC error banner at top of content (Foundation QoL)
A persistent horizontal strip now appears at the top of the content column whenever the
wallet can't reach its node — unlike the transient toasts it stays up for as long as the
fault persists, so an offline wallet is never silently mistaken for a working one.

The show/severity/action decision is a pure, unit-tested function
(ui/node_status_banner.h::evaluateNodeStatusBanner) fed a state snapshot by the new
App::renderNodeStatusBanner(). Three cases:
  - full-node offline        -> amber, "Reconnect"    (App::tryConnect)
  - embedded daemon crashed
    & auto-restart gave up    -> red,   "Restart node" (App::restartDaemon)
  - lite wallet open failed -> red, message-only

Suppressed during the wizard / wallet-switch / daemon-restart / screenshot-sweep / shutdown,
and while an expected startup phase (warmup / init / connect-in-progress) already owns the
screen. Banner height lives in res/themes/ui.toml (banners.node-status); colours come from the
material semantic palette; the detail text is ellipsis-clipped so it can't push the action
button off-screen. Drawn before the content edge-fade vertex capture so it stays fully opaque.

New i18n keys (node_banner_*). Build-clean both variants; ctest 1/1 (adds testNodeStatusBanner).
