René Nyffenegger bc9fff1130 Use AC_ARG_VAR to set ARFLAGS. 
The user can set ARFLAGS in the ./configure step with
  ./configure ARFLAGS=...
If he chooses not to do so, ARFLAGS will be set to cr.
